The agency is not overpriced. It is priced for a company you are not yet

Brazilian SEO agencies charge what they charge because the work takes people and the people are good. The problem is not the price, it is that the price assumes a marketing budget, and most businesses reach for SEO precisely because they do not have one.

The gap between what you need and what is sold

Search in Brazil is a genuinely large opportunity and an unusually competitive one. Portuguese-language content is abundant, the market is mature, and the obvious queries in most categories are already held by someone who has been publishing for years.

What is sold to a business that notices this is a retainer. It works, and it costs a monthly fee plus the overhead nobody quotes: approving topics, reviewing drafts in a voice that is not quite yours, chasing a post that was due last week, and reading a report explaining why it is early days.

The tool alternative usually fails for a different reason. Most of this category is built for a card-paying customer in the United States, prices in dollars without thinking about it, and treats Brazil as a translation problem rather than a market.

What this does instead

It runs the sequence and hands you a draft, not a report. You decide what publishes.

Research against Brazilian results
Expands your terms using Google's own autocomplete, related searches and People Also Ask, read as they stand in Brazil rather than from a cached global snapshot.
Written in Portuguese, not translated into it
Per site, in the language you set. A keyword list built from Brazilian results is not the same list as an English one run through a translator, and the difference is where the traffic is.
$35 a month, billed in dollars
Stated plainly because the exchange rate is yours to carry and we would rather say so than quote a real figure that moves. Against an agency retainer it is a different order of commitment.
Card, mobile money or bank transfer
Through Flutterwave. Mobile money is a one-off payment; recurring auto-charge is card only, which is worth knowing before you plan around it.
Published into your own CMS
WordPress, Shopify, Ghost, Webflow or your own endpoint, filed under the right category rather than everything landing in Sem categoria.

Where an agency is still the better buy

If your category is genuinely competitive and the money terms are held by established sites, you are not going to out-publish them with software alone. Beating an incumbent on a commercial query takes links, brand and a strategist who knows your market, and none of those come from a content pipeline.

If you have a budget and the time to brief and review properly, a good Brazilian agency will beat this and should. The honest case for software is narrower: you need the publishing to happen consistently, you cannot justify a retainer, and the alternative is nothing happening at all, which is what usually happens.

The strategy that works at this budget is not to fight for the head terms. It is to answer the specific questions your customers ask before they buy, in Portuguese, consistently, for longer than feels reasonable.

What this will not do

It will not win competitive Brazilian head terms. Those go to sites with links and brand, and content alone does not substitute.

It does not build backlinks, by choice. Link exchanges are the pattern Google's link spam policy names and the risk sits on your domain.

It does not get pages into Google faster. IndexNow reaches Bing, Yandex, Seznam and Naver; Google is not a participant.

Questions worth asking first

Is content in Portuguese worth it if my competitors publish nothing?

That is the best case there is, and it is more common than people expect outside the biggest categories. Where nobody local has answered the questions your buyers ask, the barrier is consistency rather than skill.

Can I run a Portuguese and an English site from one account?

Yes. Language is set per site and several sites share the account and the plan.

How long before it shows anything?

Three to six months on a site with some history, longer on a new domain, and longer still in a competitive category. Anyone quoting a percentage in ninety days is describing their marketing rather than your site.

Start with the audit, which costs nothing

It crawls what you have already published and reports indexing problems, duplicates and missing titles. On most sites that list is worth more than the next article.
